Standard enchanting caps at +8. Reaching +9 is only possible via the use of a Chaos Orb.
QHow do Altars work and what are the success rates?
You must place the item you wish to upgrade in the center node to start.
You can place up to 3 additional items in the outer nodes to increase your chances, up to a 100% success rate.
Upon a successful upgrade, the center item is upgraded while retaining all its modifiers, enchants, and augments.
A successful ritual also sets the item's level to the average of the inputs, repairs the item, and applies an Orb of Reforging.
Shields and armor can be used together in altars.
QHow does the gear drop system work?
Every drop is fully randomized based on a specific weight.
Stat modifier limits are capped based on rarity: Common=3, Uncommon=3, Rare=4, Epic=4, and Legendary=5. Using a Chaos Orb adds +1 to the limit (e.g. Common can reach 4, Rare 5, Legendary 6).
QHow many augments can I get based on Armorsmith or Weaponsmith level?
Level 1: Max uncommon with up to 2 augments.
Level 2: Max rare with up to 2 augments.
Level 3: Max epic with up to 2 augments.
Level 4: Max legendary with up to 2 augments.
Level 5: Max legendary with up to 4 augments.
QWhat are Loot Slimes and what do they drop?
Loot slimes can spawn from killing monsters.
They drop enchanted rare, epic, legendary or mythic gear (+3 to +6).
They drop special tier-matched orbs, including the Orb of Augmentation, Nullification, Chaos, and Duplication.
Dungeon mythics cannot drop from loot slimes.
QWhat are the differences between Alignments (Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic)?
Alignments are semi-permanent settings managed via the /pvp command inside safe-zones.
Lawful: Cannot engage in open-world PvP and cannot access Chaotic or War zones.
Neutral: Flagged for PvP outside of safe zones and receives a passive 10% bonus to item find, gem yield, and village resources.
Chaotic: Flagged for PvP, but drops a piece of equipment upon dying to another Chaotic player. Chaotic players receive a 20% passive bonus to item find, gems, and resources, which increases to 30% inside Warzones.
QWhat is the Disarray mechanic in open-world PvP?
While PvP-tagged in the open world, groups larger than 5 receive a new debuff called Disarray.
Being within 100 blocks of more than 4 allies applies 1 stack of Disarray for each extra ally. Allies are players in your guild or party.
Each stack reduces outgoing damage and incoming healing effectiveness.
QWhat do the main attributes (STR, DEX, INT, VIT) do?
Strength: +20% Axe Damage, +5% Critical Hit Chance, +5% Block.
Dexterity: +20% Sword Damage, +35% Critical Hit Multiplier, +5% Dodge.
Intellect: +20% Scythe Damage, +16% Mana Recovery, +5% Life Steal.
Vitality: +20% Mace Damage, +6% Energy Recovery, +6% Health.
These values are the current per-1000-points scaling and represent the primary weapon and defensive bonuses for each attribute.
QWhat are the current armor stat caps?
Each type of blodge is capped at 25%. Each type rolls independently, so effective total chance can still exceed 25%.
Thorns is capped at 50%. Healing is capped at 25%. Damage reduction is capped at 40%.
Elemental Resistance is capped at 65% for its actual defensive effect, but skills that scale from Elemental Resistance still use the total raw amount above that cap.
Caps limit direct combat effectiveness, while some passive or skill-based bonuses can continue to scale from the full reported stat value.
QHow does mob level difference affect damage?
Players lower level than mobs take increased damage and deal reduced damage.
QWhat do the weapon stats do (Accuracy, Crushing, Execute, Bleeding, and Cleave)?
Accuracy: Chance to ignore all forms of blodge.
Crushing: Deals 1.5% increased damage for every 1% of the enemy's current health relative to their max HP, additive with other modifiers such as Critical Hit.
Execute: Deals 1.5% increased damage for every 1% of health the enemy is currently missing relative to their maximum HP, additive with other modifiers such as Critical Hit.
Bleeding: Causes enemies to receive 50% less healing from all sources except potions for 3 seconds.
Cleave: To be added.
Crushing: To be added.
QIs there an EXP catch-up mechanic if I start late in the wipe?
Yes, players gain double XP while below a specific level threshold.
This threshold scales dynamically, starting at level 1 at the beginning of the wipe and rising to level 90 once Tier 5 has been unlocked for a week.
This catch-up bonus stacks multiplicatively with other XP sources.
QHow many people can be in a Guild?
The initial member cap for a guild is 8 players.
You can gain +2 additional player slots per house built in your village, allowing for a maximum of 16 players if you have 4 houses.
QWhat are Rifts and Infernal Gateways?
When killing monsters, a Mystic Realmbinder has a chance to spawn, accompanied by either a Rift Tear or an Infernal Gateway.
Rift Tears: Monsters spawned from these tears wear full rare gear, grant double score (including XP, gems, and keys), and drop rift fragments. They also drop ability artifacts at double the rate.
Rift titan trinket drops scale their maximum rarity by tier: T1 = Common–Uncommon, T2 = Common–Rare, T3 = Common–Epic, T4 = Uncommon–Legendary, T5 = Rare–Legendary.
All tiers of Rift Tears give around 30 fragments on average. Rift Tears have a 1/1000 per kill chance to spawn for every tier.
Infernal Gateways: These spawn an endless wave of underworld monsters for 20 minutes, capped at ~10–30 monsters based on nearby players. After 20 minutes, an enderman boss spawns. Gateway monsters do not drop gear; instead, their score is accumulated and dropped as a single loot item when the boss dies.
QWhat are Fated Tablets?
Fated Tablets are items dropped by monsters that represent a portion of a redeemable reward, which can be claimed via an altar ritual.
You need a maximum stack size for a guaranteed reward, but partial stacks offer a proportional success rate.
The drop tables for tablets are territory-dependent to allow for target farming, and you can view these tables by speaking to Maleck near the guild village portal.
QHow do Hot Zones work?
Hot zones activate hourly per region (e.g., the entirety of Jagged Rocks) at the same time across all shards.
They only spawn in regions that have at least one territory of the highest currently unlocked tier.
While inside a Hot Zone, you receive +50% world event chance, +25% dungeon key fragments, +25% guild resources, +25% mining/fishing yield, and a 5% chance for monsters to convert to elites.
QWhat kinds of Orbs exist and what do they do?
Orb of Augmentation: Adds a random modifier up to the maximum limit.
Orb of Nullification: Removes a random modifier from an item.
Orb of Chaos: Has a chance to add a modifier, increase the item's level by 5 and reroll stats to max, or increase the enchant by 3. However, it has a 33% chance to destroy the item and adds a 'Chaotic' tag, preventing further orb usage.
Orb of Duplication: Creates an exact copy of an item. The copy receives a 'Duplicated' tag and cannot be duplicated again. These only drop from loot monsters and fated tablets.
Orb of Alteration: Randomly rerolls an item's modifiers. It can roll up to the maximum modifiers without needing an Orb of Augmentation, and always rolls a minimum of 1 additional modifier if the item has an imprinted modifier.
Orb of Transcendence: Applies exclusively to mythic items, increasing their level by 5 (if possible) and rerolling their base stats to legendary equipment values.
Orb of Reforging: Place on equipment to randomize the values of all permanent stats. This orb will not change any of the stat types on the item.
Orb of Divinity: Place on equipment to randomize the values of all bonus stats. This orb will not change any of the stat types on the item.
Orb of Wisdom: Place on equipment to increase its level by 1.
QCan mythic items be imprinted or orbbed?
No. Mythic items cannot be imprinted or orbed.
QHow does scrapping work?
Scrap values are determined strictly by rarity: Common=4, Uncommon=8, Rare=16, Epic=32, and Legendary=64.
Tier 5 items have their scrap values tripled.
You can also scrap three trinkets of the same type to receive a new trinket of a random rarity.
QHow do Loot Chests work?
Keys drop from killing nearby monsters, which then float to the chest and generate items that are drop-protected for the killer.
Chests act as visual dispensers showing colored particles: green for food, white for loot, and purple for elite items. Opening them also has a chance to spawn Loot Slimes.
QWhere can I find Ability Artifacts?
Artifacts can be obtained as drops from Rift Tear monsters, which drop ability artifacts at double their standard rate (effectively 4× overall vs normal drops).
QHow do I get Loot Buffs or Experience Buffs?
Either by purchasing them on the Dungeon Realms Store or from winning them from Mystery Crates!
QWhat applies to loot bonus in the game?
All sources of loot bonus apply to fated tablets, clue scrolls, kill score, and mythic drops.
Sources of loot bonus include loot buffs, item find, party loot bonus, and alignment bonus.
QWhat are the limits and scaling rules for Dungeons?
The maximum group size for all instanced content, including dungeons and conquests, is 5 players.
Dungeon monster HP scales dynamically from 0.67× to 2× based on the 1–5 player count.
If you fail a dungeon attempt, dungeon key fragments are refunded proportionally to the amount of monsters remaining in the dungeon.
Orbs of Transcendence drop from high-difficulty dungeons at a rate that scales with difficulty divided by the number of players.
